Designed by autism expert Emily Rubin, the easy-to-use Feelings Book fosters the “Three E’s,” otherwise referred to as: Emotional Identification, Emotional Understanding and Emotional Regulation. Students explore eight emotions from happy to mad. Each color-coded emotion has a two-page layout that encourages student interaction. The “Emotion Meter” helps identify the intensity of the emotion, while the second page focuses on understanding coping strategies. Focuses on eight emotions: Happy, silly, sad, embarrassed, bored, scared, frustrated and mad.
The laminated Feelings Book allows students to write or draw using a wipe-off marker and can be used again and again.
Includes laminated, spiralbound book, wipe-off marker and lesson plans, 2002.
